Awesome Tenerife is an independent travel guide focused on one thing: giving people planning a trip to Tenerife clear, practical, up-to-date information without the padding you find on a lot of travel sites.
We're building this site out gradually — new destination guides, activity write-ups and practical travel-planning pages are added every week. If there's something about Tenerife you can't find here yet, it's probably coming soon.
We don't accept payment for editorial placement or reviews. Where we mention specific hotels, attractions or operators within a guide, it's because they're genuinely relevant to the topic, not because anyone has paid for the mention. Where we don't have verified, first-hand information — such as reviews of individual named hotels — we say so directly rather than filling the gap with a list we can't stand behind.
The site is written and maintained by people who care about getting the details right: current opening patterns, realistic prices, honest descriptions of what somewhere is actually like rather than brochure language. If something here is wrong or out of date, we'd genuinely like to know — see the contact page for how to reach us.
We do use a small number of affiliate links — currently Wise, Amazon, Hotels.com and Expedia — meaning we may earn a small commission if you sign up or book through them, at no extra cost to you. We've deliberately kept this to a handful of services we actually use ourselves, rather than filling the site with ads or a long list of paid partners. It's disclosed wherever it appears, and it never influences which destinations, beaches or activities we choose to write about, or what we say about them.
