Los Gigantes
A small resort built around a marina, named for the sheer cliffs that rise straight out of the sea beside it.
The Acantilados de Los Gigantes (Cliffs of the Giants) rise up to around 800 metres directly from the Atlantic, and the town below is a low-rise, quieter resort compared to the south coast's bigger names.
It's a common departure point for boat trips — both to see the cliffs from the water and for whale and dolphin watching — and a good base if you want easy access to hiking around Masca and the Teno mountains.
The town itself is small enough to walk end to end in twenty minutes, built around a working marina rather than a resort strip, with a handful of seafood restaurants facing the water. It suits visitors who've already decided they want a quieter, scenery-led stay rather than those still weighing up nightlife or big attractions.
