Where to Stay

Hotels in Costa Adeje

The default safe choice for most first-time visitors — consistently the most polished resort area on the island.

Costa Adeje has the highest concentration of 4- and 5-star resorts in Tenerife, most built in the last two decades along a well-maintained seafront promenade. If you want predictable quality and don't want to research too hard, this is the area where you're least likely to be disappointed.

Expect to pay a premium compared to Playa de las Américas or Los Cristianos for a similar star rating — you're paying for the newer builds, better-kept grounds and quieter surroundings as much as for facilities.

  • Best for: first-time visitors, families, anyone prioritising a polished resort over nightlife or budget.
  • Price level: generally the highest on the island for equivalent star ratings.
  • Many resorts here are within walking or short shuttle distance of Siam Park.
  • Check specifically whether a hotel is beachfront or a short walk/shuttle from the beach — Costa Adeje's resort belt extends back from the coast, and "Costa Adeje" listings vary a lot on this.
