Where to Stay

Hotels in Los Cristianos

A calmer, more local base with strong transport links — popular with long-stay and older travellers.

Los Cristianos generally has a more relaxed accommodation mix than its neighbours: fewer big resort complexes, more mid-size hotels and aparthotels, and a town centre that doesn't feel purpose-built for tourism the way parts of Playa de las Américas do.

Its harbour (with ferries to La Gomera and El Hierro) and easy bus/tram connections make it a practical base if you're planning day trips rather than staying resort-bound.

  • Best for: long-stay visitors, older travellers, a calmer pace without losing amenities.
  • Price level: generally mid-range, good value relative to Costa Adeje.
  • A practical base for day trips — ferry port and good bus connections.
