Playa de las Américas has the widest spread of accommodation price points in the south — from budget aparthotels to genuine 5-star properties — which makes it worth checking even if you end up booking Costa Adeje instead, since prices for a comparable room are often noticeably lower here.
The trade-off is proximity to the nightlife strip: a hotel a few streets back from the bars can be a completely different experience from one directly on the main strip, so check the specific location within the resort, not just the resort name.
